MBA institutes in South Africa
13 institutions that award management qualifications in South Africa, grouped by what kind of body each one is — because that, not a ranking, is what decides whether the award holds up where you need it.
01 · How the system works
What to check in South Africa
South Africa runs the region’s most developed system. SAQA maps every qualification, foreign ones included, onto a level of the National Qualifications Framework — so the useful question here is “what NQF level?” rather than “is it recognised?”. An MBA sits at NQF level 9. The Council on Higher Education accredits the programmes themselves.
If you take a qualification abroad and bring it back here, it is assessed by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), against the NQF. The process there: Evaluation of foreign qualifications. All 104 countries are mapped here.
